UV-light (ultraviolet) ozone removal and disinfecting systems
The UV-light irradiation systems are designed to destroy harmful viruses and bacteria naturally present in water. They are an efficient and relatively cheap solution in the treatment and conditioning of water to be used for mineral water production or as ingredient in brewing, soft drink production, etc.
The UV-system functioning is based on a physics principle with guaranteed reliability: the UV light emitted by special mercury steam lamps (UV-C rays with a wavelength of 254 nm) is a strong disinfectant thanks to its interaction with the molecular structure of the cells.

Recently the UV-light, with much higher intensity than what is needed for disinfection, has been also applied in the process of destruction of the ozone dissolved in mineral water, right before filling process.
