Mineral water

Mineral waters, whether sourced naturally or produced industrially, dominate the global bottled beverages market.

Soft drinks

Milk-based drinks

Milk-based drinks are a popular category of beverages enjoyed worldwide, offering nutrition as well as thirst quenching and versatility.

Our equipment is designed to process a reconstituted base (milk powder or plant-based powder), which means blended with water and strained. Depending on the drink, ingredients such as flavourings, sweeteners, or thickeners are then added. The mixture is homogenized to create a smooth texture. Pasteurisation eliminates harmful bacteria and ensures safety and longer shelf life.

Flavoured water

Flavoured water is a refreshing alternative to plain water, often infused with natural or artificial flavours like fruit, herbs or minerals. It provides hydration while adding a subtle taste, making it popular among those who find regular water bland.

The production of flavoured water starts with water purification to remove impurities. Flavourings are then added. Sweeteners, vitamins or minerals may also be included, depending on the product type. Finally, the flavoured water is carbonated (for sparkling varieties) or pasteurised (for still products).

Fruit juices

Available in countless flavours, juice is a staple in diets worldwide for its refreshing taste and health benefits.

Producing juice from concentrates starts by rehydrating the concentrate: water is added to the concentrate in precise amounts. Depending on the typology of the final product, flavourings or other minor ingredients are incorporated to enhance taste or nutrition. Some juices may contain added sugar or other sweeteners and preservatives. The reconstituted juice is then pasteurized quickly to ensure safety and extend shelf life.

Energy drinks

Energy drinks are beverages designed to boost energy, focus and alertness, then they became popular among students, athletes, workers and consumers of cocktails in the dance clubs as well.

They typically contain caffeine, sugars, and other stimulants like taurine, guarana or B vitamins. These components are carefully measured and blended with water to create a concentrated base. In case of still products, the mixture is then pasteurized to eliminate harmful bacteria and extend shelf life. Afterward, carbonation is added if a fizzy drink is desired.

Tea

Over the past twenty years, the global beverage industry has experienced significant growth. Today, rising demand for ready-to-drink tea presents a challenge, as traditional brewing methods often fall short of meeting younger consumers’ expectations for sensory quality. Additionally, tea processing faces challenges like sediment formation, colour changes and aroma deterioration.

WS offers tailored solutions to support manufacturers, including flash sterilizers, deaeration systems, filtration methods, and more, to improve tea production.

Wine

Wine can undergo different treatments to improve its characteristic: WS offers different solutions for this product.

Filtration involves removing solid particles, yeast, and other impurities from wine to enhance clarity and stability. This improves its appearance and ensures a smoother taste. Flash pasteurisation allows to kill harmful microorganisms to extend shelf life and ensures safety while preserving original flavour. Wine can be added with carbon dioxide to enhance the sensory experience, hence making it popular for sparkling wines.

Beer

WS offers different solutions for beer, to raise quality and stability as well as to fasten production cycles.

Filtration improves its appearance and ensures a smoother taste, by removing solid particles and other impurities. Flash pasteurisation kills harmful microorganisms to extend shelf life and ensure safety while preserving original flavour. Carbon dioxide can be added artificially to control the carbonation degree and uniform level of fizziness in every batch, maintaining the same taste and mouthfeel across different containers.
